Aicok Toaster
Cream cheese on bagels and toast with fresh butter. Eggos and Poptarts that make my heart flutter. Pillsbury Strudels with filling that clings. These are a few of my favorite things.
However unhealthy these breakfast foods may be, they are my weakness. In fact, my number one pregnancy craving was Poptarts. My husband and I frequented Walmart for months picking up the 48-count value pack.
I toasted so many Poptarts he was convinced I’d never eat another one again after we had our baby, but here we are months later and I still love them. I’ve loved toaster pastries since I was a kid, and I have a feeling our kids will love them too.
Since I’m using our toaster to cook our family’s favorite breakfast foods (okay, treats) so often, it’s important to me to use a high-quality one. No one likes burnt toast, especially not me.
After putting the Aicok Toaster to the test, I am pleased to report that it makes the cut. Here are some things I love about it:
First things first, this particular Aicok Toaster is the 4-slice model. This makes it easy to cook for multiple people at once. I don’t know about you, but we are always in a rush to get out the door in the morning. We don’t have time to make multiple batches of toast, so it’s convenient to be able to cook everything at once.
Second, these Aicok Toaster slots are extra wide. This is my favorite feature for toasting bread that isn’t pre-sliced. We have a local bakery down the road called Kneaders that makes the most delicious cinnamon bread. It tastes amazing when you toast a thick slice and put butter on it. In the past, I’ve tried using other toaster brands, and the bread usually gets stuck. Lucky for me, the cinnamon bread fits perfectly in these extra wide slots.
Third, there is a defrost function on the Aicok Toaster. We typically buy our bread and bagels from Costco and put the extra loaves in the freezer for a later date. Most of the time we transfer the loaves to the fridge with enough time to defrost before we want to eat a slice or bagel, but every so often we run out before we’ve switched more over to the fridge. With the Aicok Toaster’s defrost feature, this is no longer a problem. It will actually defrost and then toast your frozen bread or bagel.
Fourth, the toaster is extremely easy to clean, and this is a game changer. My husband is a huge fan of this because he always jokes about how I leave crumbs in the toaster and they end up burning, so his toast doesn’t taste as good. Thanks to the Aicok Toaster’s removable crumbler, these jokes are a thing of the past. All we have to do to clean the toaster is to remove the crumb tray and empty it.
Fifth, there are 7 different level settings. I like this because everyone likes their breakfast foods in a different way. I personally prefer my toast and pastries on the crispier side, while my husband enjoys them only slightly toasted.
If you can’t tell, I’m a huge fan of this toaster. To be honest, if I hadn’t seen the price tag, I’d assume it was in the $100 plus range. It’s the type of toaster you’d expect to find in an industrial kitchen or 5-star hotel.
Luckily for you and me, this toaster is affordable so we can all enjoy it. You can toast your favorite breakfast foods in a luxurious toaster for a fraction of the price.
